Dream hike

I go on a cruise, warm grass stalks tickle under my naked feet.
My way leads to nowhere. I don’t know what to do today.
The wind defines my path, where does it go? I look up and feel the suns heat.
I don’t want to spend my time in lonesome. Just want a joyful day.

 In front of me a portal opens up, the colours are blurred. What conceals behind?
I look for thrill and excitement - sadness won’t come up again.
Without conscious I get closer, reach out my hand. I wonder if I’ll find something kind.
My anxiety blew off, trust to enter a beautiful dream alike back then.

 I’m on the run, nobody can catch me. You won’t catch up with me.
What will I do tomorrow and the days after? My yesterdays behaviour left traces.
Searching for a new dream, want to immerse. I just want to be free.
I need to cheer up people, do everything I can to see their happy faces.

I spend hours on doing, try my best to stay efficient. Who am I function for? Either being at work or stay at home. I'm quite humble, it's not much I ask for. Let me be myself and I do my thing. Alex konnte nicht einschlafen. Die letzten Stunden waren für sie zu aufregend gewesen. Sie hatte nicht nur jemanden in ihrer Stammbar kennengelernt, nein. Alex fand die Person auf den ersten Blick interessant und wollte mehr von ihr wissen. Nach ein paar Tequila-Shots kamen sie ins Gespräch. Alles schien so gut zu laufen. Sie unterhielten sich über Gott und die Welt. Alex fühlte, dass sie endlich ihren Seelenverwandten gefunden hatte. Bevor sie weiter an Herzschmerz leiden wollte, ließ sie sich heute auf das Risiko ein. Diese Nacht wollte sie nicht alleine verbringen. Dieses eine Mal sollte es keinen Rückzieher geben. Alex’ Gedanken wurden von der sich bewegenden Bettdecke neben sich abgelenkt. Ihr Blick schweifte nach rechts. Sie streckte ihre Beine aus. Tiffany muss wohl wieder wach sein. Bevor Alex auf ihre Worte erwidern konnte, nahm sie die Flasche Whiskey in die Hand und trank sich etwas Mut an. “Ist das jetzt dein Ernst? Hat dir das etwa nichts bedeutet? Nicht einmal ich?”, reagierte Alex etwas wütend. Tiffany schaute sie wieder an. Ihre Augen erinnerten sie an die eines Welpens. So süß und unschuldig. Ihre Stimme war kaum zu hören, “Nein, das ist es nicht. Ich… Alex, ich bin mir unsicher. Verstehst du? Ich..”. Diese Reaktion ließ Alex nicht kalt. Ihre Stimme wurde lauter und sie stellte Tiffany zur Rede. “Es ist dein Freund, oder? Dein verschissener Freund, der seit Monaten im Ausland ist, sich kaum bei dir meldet und dich zudem mehrmals betrogen hat. Wie viele Affären hatte er noch einmal gehabt? Vier? Vier ist wohl eher die Zahl, die er dir gegenüber zugegeben hat. Verdammt, mein Kopf tut langsam weh!”.
