I Look in the Mirror
I look in the mirror, I see my other self. The crazy, social, confident one. The shy, precarious face stands in front.
Everyday the same picture, same poses and gestures. I want to look pretty and conscious too.
Hairstyle is on top my nails polished since yesterday evening. Sometimes I actually seem to be on a hunt.
Try to gloss my eyes descently, just to keep up with my attitude. I’m not using makeup to hide behind, I don’t need a mask for a better view.
What are beauty standards for, doesn’t everyone has its own? What you expect me to do?
Spend hours in front of mirrors, drawing thousands of lines in your face? For eternities check out yourself on reflecting surfaces?
I don’t need to be a model, I don’t want to be the perfect girl. We’ve got our flaws and an ugly side, no matter what you consume on brew.
All our disgrace lies in the past, we’ve all been children and had our blemishes. Either it way our nature attitude or teeth full of braces.
Society says that we shall live on natural base, just like God created us. But still discriminating exists in our world.
We all get separated into sections - your religion, your origins, your skin colour or your interests.
I don’t want to be classified by anything of this. I’m still a human existing in this world, we’re all different in a space so broad.
Love is love, people are people. We’re all unique and shall be proud of it. Who cares if a man falls in love with someone without breasts?
